FAQ

A.The rates that I've listed on this page are the rates that I need to charge in order to get the quality of work that you see in my portfolio. My rates are created by taking an average amount of time spent photographing and editing photos, as well as accounting for my equipment expenses and taxes. Sometimes the rate is impacted by the amount of people, the location, the time of year, etc. All rates shown are subject to change at my discretion. Use these rates as a starting point and of course, let's engage in conversation to find the best custom fit for your needs and budget. Occasionally, I offer discounted rates through my Instagram stories, Facebook page, or put out model calls for everything from maternity, to family, to engagements, where I offer a free shoot for something I am looking to put in my portfolio.

A.Yes. The retainer fee is simply a retainer payment to insure your spot in my calendar. It is not an additional charge, and is factored into the price of your session. Once I book a session, I am holding that spot open for you, making it unavailable to anyone else. If you cancel your shoot without a minimum 24 hour notice, the retainer becomes non-refundable.

A.Wear something you feel comfortable in! I strongly recommend staying away from shirts with any logos or text, neon colors, or busy patterns. Earth tones such as dark brown, green, maroon, or dark blue photograph beautifully. If you're still unsure what to wear shoot me a message and I'll send you some more specific ideas to match your own personal style.

A.This can vary depending on season, workload, and intensity of touch-ups needed. I try to get the photos to you as quickly as possible, since I know you will be excited to see them! It typically takes me 2-3 weeks to deliver portrait session photos, and 4 weeks to deliver wedding photos but I promise I will send you previews the next day!

A.I accept payment through Venmo, Paypal, cash, or personal check.

A.Yes! High quality, affordable, and beautiful prints, canvas prints, metal prints, wood prints, cards, and more are all available in my print shop, which is the site which I use to deliver your photos. Unfortunately I am not able to offer photo books at this time, but it is something that is currently in the works and I am happy to recommend great places to get photo books!

A.Great question! All the photos you receive from your session are all the pieces to the puzzle. Any extra photos I have are either exact replicas from continuous shooting, or photos where someone's eye might be closed, or you might be fixing your hair, etc. No shots get left behind or unseen, and I will always give you more images if I need to.
