A beautiful evening at Garden of the Gods
Mara and Tom traveled all the way from Nashville, TN to Colorado to get married at the absolutely breathtaking Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. They had originally planned for a large wedding back home, but Covid-19 had changed their plans, so they decided to make the trip out to Colorado with only their closest friends and family. We spent the day exploring all the natural beauty of the park, laughing, and talking about their story. Small, intimate weddings are absolutely my favorite to photograph because the focus is on the story of love, nothing extra or extravagant. As the sun began to set behind the giant red rocks, the most gorgeous golden light filtered through, shining as bright and beautifully as Mara and Tom's love for each other.
